Levelling up with Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation
Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) delivers the Community Development Program (CDP) in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. AAC works with individuals, communities and other organisation to provide a range of services, enterprises and programs that facilitate increased participation in employment and economic opportunities.
AAC covers an extensive area geographically and supports a large number of clients across the region that stretches from Port Hedland to the Western Desert. As one of the largest CDP providers in Western Australia, AAC is committed to provide high quality services and program with a team of dedicated leaders and frontline workers.
In 2024, Ashburton engaged Bounce to deliver professional development to their frontline workforce and their leaders. Using a combination of face-to-face and online training, Bounce has delivered training to over 30 participants. This improved the skills and knowledge of their employees, and boosted the organisations culture to make it a great place to work.

Bounce Trainer Linda over to the Pilbara to deliver Bounce Job Coach Certification training. Job Coach Certification gives frontline workers the skills they need to coach their clients towards positive employment outcomes. Over twenty frontline staff completed the face-to-face training, and the engagement and feedback were incredibly positive.

Leveling up our leaders.
At the same time Job Coach Certification was being rolled out, Bounce Master Trainer Maria was delivering the Coaching Skills for Leaders program to 13 leaders across the organisation.
The training session brought team members together from across all the AAC sites to immerse themselves into the training.
These sessions were powerfully transformational and bolstered trust and connection within the team. They gave members time to reflect and review what is working well within the organisation and how they can build a culture of positive wellbeing and support their staff and clients to achieve positive work and life outcomes.
