The wait is finally over, and it’s been exciting to see providers announce their successful bids to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia contract.
Inclusive Employment Australia will commence on 1 November 2025 with 83 providers working towards creating an inclusive society and increasing employment participation for people with disability, injuries, or health conditions.
Inclusive Employment Australia will deliver participant-focused employment services, with increased flexibility and tailored support.
Ensuring frontline teams and managers are ready to go by the start of November will be critical for a smooth transition for clients. Without effective planning and preparation, providers could find themselves on the back foot when it comes to client and employer engagement.
And that’s where we can help!

With the new contract set to commence from November 1, there’s time for providers to prepare their frontline and management teams to hit the ground running and avoid taking unnecessary risks.

Maria has been in the UK delivering the ‘Future Fit’ 2-day workshop with ERSA and industry partners, including the Institute for Employment Studies. Together, they have created a new vision for employment services – Shaping Tomorrow’s Employment Services, which they presented to colleagues from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) – Policy and Commercial.
The workshop was designed using an appreciative inquiry model called The 4D Process, and over the two days, participants were able to explore ideas, think outside the box, and dream big.
We are excited to see how the future is shaped for employment services in the UK.

New contracts are often followed by a period of uncertainty and disruption. For many providers, it’s an exciting time of change with growth and new opportunities. But for others, the transition out of the contract will affect not only the organisation but also their dedicated staff and the people with a disability they have supported for many years.
The secret to navigating change includes staying grounded in your purpose, communicating with compassion and clarity, and empowering your team with the tools they need to adapt with confidence.
In times like these, leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about creating safety, showing up with empathy, and holding space for what’s next. When we stay people-focused, the path forward always reveals itself.
We are keen to support providers in any way we can, so please connect with me, Kelly, or Chris.
